Isaiah 63:16-18

16 Doubtless thou art our Father: though [a]Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel know us not, yet thou, O Lord, art our Father, and our redeemer: thy Name is forever.
17 O Lord, why hast [b]thou made us to err from thy ways? and hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy [c]servant’s sake, and for the tribes of thine inheritance.
18 The people of thine holiness have possessed it, but a little [d]while: for our adversaries have trodden down thy Sanctuary.
